I often examine my problems in life, and find that they mostly stem from the people around me. Life has this way of sending sorrow through the bonds we form as we grow older. People have expectations of you, you expect things from people. One hardly ever “disappoints” oneself, one is usually disappointed as a result of expectations placed upon other people.
We seek shelter in these bonds, they help validate our existence. We settle for less than we deserve to maintain these bonds. We fight for these bonds, fight to maintain, fight to replenish, and sometimes fight to severe. A pastor once said “you have all you need to be where God wants you to be”. I need no bonds, I need no pain, I seek solace in my solitude.
Eating cake + Drinking Moet & Chandon + listening to good music + replaying the happenings of a great weekend in my head = PRICELESS
